I had plans to room with two other people, but the person in charge of booking the rooms told me this week that the triple rooms were already gone. She's waiting to hear from the Hilton Garden Inn to see if they still have rooms.

I thought I'd check and see if anyone needed a roommate, as she might have an easier time booking a double for her and her sister, and I could room somewhere else.

Hey, I actually have the same problem. I wanted to share a room with two friends but they didn't get a triple room either. Did you find someone by now?

Yes! Nobody ever contacted me, I was wondering where else to maybe ask. I already booked a double though. Did you book as well? I booked in the con hotel because a friend told me she was staying in the other one last time and it wasn't so nice. (I'm just waiting to get confirmation about the date change though...)

Please tell me you don't smoke?

(Actually, the person from JIB con forum contacted me about the rooming and I'm talking with them about it right now.) You should try the forum! I saw one girl from Germany is looking for a roomate as well! :)

Heh, okay. I should head over there then. I just prefer people from LJ. I had a super bad experience with someone from a forum. For another convention though.

I have asthma, hence smoking is pretty bad. :/

I should do that, sorry. I only went to the forum that one time and it was a few weeks until I had my roommate. By then I forgot. I don't think I even have my password anymore. I'll look into it.
